The Republic Seabee amphibian is the perfect
air transport in any
countries that have long coast lines, many islands, many lakes and large
areas of wilderness. The
Seabees quite naturally became very popular in the USA and Canada.
Seabees were also exported in numbers
to countries like Argentina, Brazil, Chile, England, France, India, Mexico, Norway,
Sweden and Uruguay.
During the production of the Republic Seabee, more than
100 Seabees were delivered from manufacturer Republic Aviation Corporation
(Long Island, New York) to
customers outside the USA and Canada. Dealerships were established
in Brazil, Cuba, Panama, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Peru, Venezuela,
Chile, Argentina, Fiji, New Caledona, South Africa, England, Norway, Sweden.
