1948-04-06 | Crashed at "Valla gärde", near Årsta, Stockholm. An axle that connected the propeller pitch pivot arm with the pitch slide failed (probably not locked correctly) and the propeller went into very fine pitch, reducing the propeller thrust so much that the Seabee could not keep speed and altitude. During emergency landing, pilot Tors Andersson, had to pull up to avoid a power line and the Seabee stalled and hit ground nose first. Andersson was seriously injured. Engine kept running for 10 minutes before someone stopped it. A/C total time at crash was 196 hrs 05 min.
1948-04-16 | Cancelled from Swedish CAR.
