The aircraft was last registered in the name of Graves Aircraft Sales and Service.  In order to complete the chain of title, we should be furnished with a bill of sale to cover each change of ownership from Graves Aircraft Sales and Service to Graves Flying Service.  You should submit either the original document or an exact copy thereof, which has been signed in ink by the seller and the notary public.

Upon receipt of the bills of sale outlined above, the aircraft may be registered in your name.

The aircraft was last registered in the name of Graves Aircraft Sales and Service, Paris, Tennessee.  We have on file bills of sale covering transfer of ownership from Graves Flying Service to Toy L. Lenning and from Mr. Lenning to you.  In order to complete the chain of title, we should also be furnished with a bill of sale from Graves Aircraft Sales and Service to Graves Flying Service.

In the event Mr. Lenning actually purchased the aircraft from the last registered owner, you should submit a bill of sale from Graves Aircraft Sales and Service to Toy Lenning, in lieu of the bill of sale to Graves Flying Service.

Registration of the aircraft in the name of Lester A. West, Jr., must be withheld pending receipt of a bill of sale from Graves Aircraft Sales and Service to you, to complete the chain of title as required by the Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938, as amended.

The subject aircraft was last registered in the name of Archie Keith.  A check of our records fails to disclose the receipt of a bill of sale from Mr. Keith to you or his request for cancellation of the United States registry.

In order that the registration number N6334K may be cancelled on our records, we should be furnished with either a bill of sale from Mr. Keith of information form him that the aircraft has been exported.

1955-09-10 Note from Archie Keith; Wedron, Illinois, to Carroll D. Heath, Chief, Administrative & Records Branch:

   In answer to your letter above, dated Sept. 7, 1955 ...The Republic aircraft in question (registration N6334K-Serial 558) was exported to Merida, Yucatan, Mexico; through Brownsville Texas in Sept. of 1954.  At that time the customs broker at Brownsville was supposed to have cancelled the United States registery (sic) of the said aircraft.
   I was paid for the Republic aircraft, and I submitted the proper Bill of sale to him both U.S. and Mexican Bill of sales.
   I hope this will give you the information that you want, and if not, I will be glad to cooperate in the fullest.
