Seabee
Accident In Sweden
Sadly, it is reported that Seabee #268,
SE-AXB, was severely damaged when suffering an accident during landing
at Lake Äcklingen, in Åre, Sweden, on June 30, 2018.
Apparently, the pilot was blinded by setting sun during landing in
glassy water conditions and the Seabee hit the water hard. The
pilot and the two passengers all escaped with minor injuries.
The Seabee sank, but has later been recovered - hopefully for rebuild.
