95 Parks Highway, Talkeetna, Alaska: Aircraft made an emergency landing on the Parks Highway, near mile 95. Upon Troopers arrival there was a single-engine Seabee aircraft that was in the ditch on the northbound side of the highway. The pilot reported losing power and had to make an emergency landing. During the emergency landing the aircraft struck an overhead power line. Talkeetna FD responded and secured the downed power lines. The aircraft was moved to prevent any further incidents. The pilot was the only person in the aircraft and wasn't hurt. |
