1960-02-05 Letter from Joseph Gigante, President; United Consultants Corp, to FAA:

Gentlemen:

This is to verify that the airplane identified on the accompanying application for registration is a modification of an existing approved airplane, the Republic RC-3 Seabee amphibian.

The modification consists, basically, of replacing the present single engine and using two 180 horsepower Lycoming engines mounted on the wing.

The engineering data necessary for the changes and the complete description of how these changes are made in compliance with the pertinent FAA regulations are contained in our engineering releases to the New York District Office of the FAA.

The modified airplane retains all of the major structural components (except power plant installation components) originally used on the Republic RC-3 Seabee.

The registration number appearing on the Application For Registration is the same as originally assigned to the Seabee we have modified.

Sincerely yours,
UNITED CONSULTANTS CORP.
Joseph Gigante
President
