Pilot John Flansburgh, 41, Michigan Center, Michigan, was critically injured when his Seabee amphibian crashed after striking telephone wires near Newburg in Ozaukee County. The crash occurred just inside Washington County. The aircraft ran low on fuel and Flansburgh landed in a farmer's field. The crash occurred as he took to the air again. Flansburgh was taken to St. Alphonsus Hospital, Port Washington. |
