Mass., was killed yesterday when his light seaplane crashed and sank after taking off from Lake Champlain. Crockett's body was recovered about a half hour after the crash. Dr. Leighton Sanders said he died of concussion and internal injuries. Crockett had been visiting at White Face Ranch where officials said he was negotiating for the purchase of cattle.
