Accident Notice, AC Form 8050-17, N-6740K: The above Registration Number is to be canceled for the reason checked below: [x] Exported to Singapore. Cancelled from FAA Aircraft Registry. |
|
Brian Woodford of Singapore imported #1028 to have it modified, by installing an IO-540 engine. Unfortunately, the Seabee ended up sitting abandoned at the edge of Singapore Seletar Airpatch. Later reports from the early 1980ies indicate that the Seabee could only be found by search from helicopter, and by then the jungle had grown around and up through it. | ||
